Description
Most deciduous trees are best pruned when their growth is dormant, in late Autumn or early Winter. Don't prune in late Winter or early Spring, as many trees bleed sap if cut at this time of year. The extending handles lock into place over six possible locations. To operate, place the branch in the jaws and close the handles without forcing them. Once you have gone as far as you can, release the handles to allow the ratchet to locate and repeat the operation until the branch is cut.
